The Yellow House Taos is in process of creating an accessible third place for emerging contemporary local artists to create artwork, participate in a supportive community environment, and foster the local art scene in Taos, New Mexico. It is an art studio membership that provides working studio spaces and peer-to-peer mentorship similar to an artist residency program.

Meet Our Founders
Kaylie Boyle

Painter and Co-Founder
Kaylie Boyle is a multidisciplinary artist based in Taos, New Mexico, originally from Omaha, Nebraska. Her work spans painting, ink drawing, and mixed media, with a focus on visual texture and layered materials as metaphors for grief and sorrow.
Kaylie moved to Taos seeking a deeper artistic connection. While pursuing a Fine Arts degree at UNM-Taos, she fell in love with the artistic community of Taos and desired to be a part of creating a space dedicated to cultivating creative community, freedom, and expression in Taos.
Emily Harper

Artist and Co-Founder
Emily Harper (b. 1987, Rochester, NY) is a gouache and paper-media artist based in Taos, New Mexico. With a B.S. in Geology and current Fine Arts studies at UNM-Taos, she brings a unique perspective blending earth sciences with contemporary art. After seven years in the Taos community, following experience in an upstate NY artist collective, Emily creates vibrant, abstract works exploring nature and human connection. She has completed multiple residencies, a solo exhibition, and participated in numerous juried shows.
